Reconstruction and Redevelopment Businesses
Reconstruction and
Redevelopment Businesses
Takara Leben’s business area consists of two pillars: the reconstruction business for buildings including dilapidated or considerably old collective housings, and the redevelopment business, which aims to create safe, secure and attractive communities through the improvement of functionality and habitability of cities. Together with the rights holders of land and buildings, Takara Leben utilizes deregulation and subsidies for buildings, and collaborates with the government, as it forms a tripartite cooperation that realizes the creation and revitalization of cities.
Reconstruction
Japan still has many condominium apartments built before 1981 under the old earthquake-resistance standards, causing a big social issue. Takara Leben promotes the reconstruction of apartment buildings that are considerably old, in cooperation with condominium associations, to contribute to solving this issue. Reconstruction of such buildings will lead to security for disasters and influx of young households, creating a living environment toward the future, where people and cities can shine even more brightly.
Redevelopment
Takara Leben’s redevelopment business is about solving the various urban problems of today, as well as improving the functionality and habitability of cities, and creating safe, secure and attractive communities.
Together with the rights holders of land and buildings, Takara Leben utilizes deregulation and subsidies for buildings, and collaborates with the government, as it forms a tripartite cooperation that realizes the creation and revitalization of cities. The project in Toyama City (Toyama Pref.) has become the model case as the first nationally accredited redevelopment project under the “Act on Vitalization in City Center.” Since the success of the project, there have been requests for participation and consultation from other local cities to date. Takara Leben continues to actively take part in redevelopment projects, not only in local cities but also in metropolitan areas as well.
